Immediacy Vidcast – May 16

I had a conversation with a friend the other day about the nature of current video work. As anyone who has seen something of quality on youtube knows, with a camera and a computer you can instantly distribute video content around the world. The point is that speed and access are becoming almost more important than polish and editing.
This first of a series of vidcasts is based on a theme of “immediacy”. Immediate vidcasts are going to be short and spontaneous. I am just going to put stuff out there. I am not interesting. I am only doing moderately interesting things but there may be something compelling about seeing the world for a few seconds as somebody else lives it. Even someone was ordinary as me…
