Panorama Gallery

January 8th, 2010

Over the summer a classmate and friend of mine, Joseph Graham, introduced the joy of stitching together panorama photos. He had a program on his Mac that made the process easy but I didn’t have it on mine so I started looking around on-line for a viable solution. ArcSoft LogoFortunately without having to search too long I found Arcsoft’s Panorama Maker 5.

I can’t rave enough about this program. The proof is in the photos below which show a combination of what I’ve been able to do with it so far. The automatic stitching of the photos is brilliant. 90% of the time it gets it right without any manual tweaking. Recently I have branched off into tile layouts using the software to stitch horizontally and vertically as in “the big stairs” photo below. Download the free trial and play with it yourself. It really is satisfying to use and a whole lot of fun in the process.

This gallery is definitely best viewed using piclens below. Hope you enjoy.
