Vitalic is the Personal Social Health Education component of the middle school curriculum. This decision making and values based class occurs weekly during HKC and addresses a wide range of topics including: interpersonal relationships, personal safety and injury prevention, nutrition, substance abuse, and human growth and development.
The curriculum is based on the Health component of OPHEA’s scope and sequence out of Ontario Canada.
The High School PSHE is a team taught course that covers topics including Life Transitions, Substance Use and Abuse, Friendship and Community, and First Aid.
