Procedures

Class Representative Elections – June 2 and June 4

All students are encouraged to run for class student council representative. Student council involves four class representatives from each grade.

Step by Step

  1. Once the class has gathered, students must be nominated to run for student council (self-nomination is fine).
  2. After students have been nominated all candidates must deliver a short (1 min max) speech to the class describing why they will make a good student council member. In the event that only 4 people are running no vote will be necessary but all candidates should give a 1 minute speech.
  3. Following all of the speeches, there shall be a maximum 5 minute question and answer session that would allow any student to ask a candidate any question regarding their potential position on student council.
